BROOMHILL BARN
Broomhill Barn has undergone a number of additions from the time it was originally built, thought to be in the 1700s.
In particular, the original entrance has been bricked up. What’s interesting about this barn is the chimney stack in the west gable wall. This chimney stack would have been installed to keep the farm workers warm at night – this is unusual in many barns.
Located adjacent to our Broomhill Farm House development, Broomhill Barn was originally a supporting parlour to the farm site, and in keeping with the authentic styling of Cheshire barns, we have worked hard to ensure the integrity of the original structure was kept. As the project continues, we are beginning to see this fantastic rural-set site return to its original glory and become a highly desirable home for the new owners.
Works began on Broomhill Barn in January 2014 and are due for completion in April 2015.
